BY PLANE

The Florence International Airport “Amerigo Vespucci” is located only 4 Km away from the city centre and the congress venue. It is connected to downtown by buses or taxes with a 15-20 min. trip. The Florence Airport provides direct flights to the main European cities.

It is also possible to land at Pisa International Airport “Galileo Galilei”, connected in less than an hour to the Florence Central Railway Station by shuttle service and by train.

A brand new service connects Florence to the International Airport “Guglielmo Marconi” in Bologna in one hour and 20 min.

BY TRAIN

High speed trains connect Florence to Milan (1 hour and 45 minutes approximately), Rome (1hour and 35 minutes approximately) and other major cities of Italy and Europe.

The main railway station in Florence is Santa Maria Novella (S.M.N.) located at 5-minute walking distance from the congress venue (Palazzo dei Congressi) and most city center hotels.

BY CAR

Florence is centrally located along the major north-south motorways.

From A1-highway take the “Firenze Sud” or the “Firenze Nord” exit depending on your travel itinerary, then follow the signs for “Centro”.There are fee paying car parks around the congress area.
